As most of you know, Mark Sallings was tragically killed on his way to a concert just a few miles from his home in Arkansas on 26th February 2009.
Mark was a great bloke, and those who knew him, or had the privilage of meeting him will certainly know that.
We all miss Mark, and his musical talents, and the music industry has lost a great, well loved man.
However, as much as we will all miss him, the love of his life, his wife "Sandra Sallings" will miss her loving husband.
She stood by Mark whilst he entertained us all, and loved him dearly.
Unfortunately, as with many musicians. Life on the road wasn't a great money spinner, but Mark loved performing his music.
They kep their heads just above the water line, but were never rich folks.
Now Sandi needs ouir help.
She is struggking to pay her bills, and needs our help.
I know times are hard for many of us at present, but can we leave the womnderful recently widowed wife of Mark Sallings on her own to cope with having no money, and struggle with the loss of her husband who took great pride in entertaining us all ?.
I spoke with Sandi just a few days ago the day after burying Mark.
It was a sad time listening to her grieving, and waiting for her husband to come home.
I had the privilage of meeting Mark on several occassions, and even sitting in my home listening to his storeies of him on the road, and telling me about the love of his wife.
He wouldn't want her to struggle, so lets try, and help her.
